Even a bit nearer to the stars in Kristberg...

This is our new slogan in order to describe the starsplendor in Kristberg. 

A 10-inch telescope (made by Meade, LX 200) is available on our starwalks. From obvserving the planets (Jupiter, Saturn, ....), looking at gigantic clouds, to discovering distant galaxies, everything is included on these guided walks. Star constellations are also described.

Because of the special location of Kristberg (no straw light, about 1.500 meters above sea-level, ...) we offer the best conditions for watching the stars. Many of our house guests have experienced this before and were fascinated by the view, especially through the Telescope.

Particularly the two planets Jupiter (it is the largest planet in our solar system) with its four visible moons and Saturn with ist prominant rings repeatedly fascinate our guests.

The exploration of distant galaxies, clouds, stars, etc. is also breathtaking. One can see ..... (the description of this would last an eternity and would not have the same effect as if you saw it by yourself.
